EPG Drives Organizational Innovation Forward

The company reaffirms its commitment to continuous innovation and process development, focusing on two key innovation strategies:
  1. Innovative Organization: Building Innovation Capabilities. This strategy encompasses three components:
    1. People Development - Focusing on employee development through both hard skills and soft skills training
    2. Knowledge Management - Implementing "Build-Share-Use" concepts through various activities including Guru Sharing sessions with expert speakers at all levels and Community of Practices (CoPs) activities that enable employees from the company and subsidiaries to exchange perspectives and experiences
    3. Culture Building - Encouraging employee idea exchange through innovation project competitions ranging from Kaizen/QCC level to new product development projects
  2. Innovation for the Future: Creating Future Innovations

The company allocates 2% of sales revenue for research and development of technology, data management, and new product development to create New S-Curves and achieve efficient cost management. R&D activities are conducted both internally (Closed innovation) and through collaboration with external institutions (Open innovation), focusing on three main areas: materials science, product design, and manufacturing processes, supported by EPG Innovation Center Co., Ltd. (EIC) for testing and research.
